We leave in the am for Lithuania. During this part of the process, please pray for Chip's back and hamstrings....and for me--please pray for the pilot, the airplane parts, birds or other potential hazards in the air.......some fears die hard... = - )

I pray for your safety in travels and your strength of faith through the process. I read a verse this morning... I Samuel 1:20..."She named him Samuel saying," Because I asked the Lord for him." May God speedily grant you the desire of your heart and bring your son home soon. God bless your new family.
I'm there with you in my heart and praying for your safe and speedy return with my every thought. I hope you know that one of your best qualities is your ability to make everyone around you believe that NOTHING is impossible. Adopting Sam is one more example of that part of you and you probably have no idea of how many people you've touched. I love you and I am soooo proud of you!

I have thought about you all day! You finally got to meet Sam. I hope that things went well. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Received a very quick 2 line email yesterday from Kris. They arrived in Lithuania yesterday (and as in all good Kristin adventures, their luggage did not arrive). Kris wrote "met Sam yesterday and he is more beautiful than any pic. He loves HIS DADDY! I'm ok, but he loves his daddy!" She also wrote that she would try to send more info today. The Original Aunt Fabulous (often imitated, never duplicated).
Thank you so much for the update. I cannot contain the excitement! Of course he is more beautiful than any picture! He just had to be. Everyone in our house is eager to hear from Miss Kristin and Mr. Chip. We know exactly what you are feeling, in EVERY way.
