Chip and I began this blog in January (07) when we traveled to Lithuania to meet our son, Sam (AKA Marty). Sam has Spina Bifida, a congenitial deformity of his spine that causes him to be paralyzed from the waist down. As we share Sam and tell his story on this site, it is our desire to glorify God and testify to His faithfulness in every peak and valley of our journey.
Sam had a better day in terms of pain, but he is becoming more withdrawn and depressed. The docs tell us that this is very normal, but we've never seen Sam like this, even with his other surgeries. Pray. K
Sam is so in our prayers! And the rest of the Hueys. I would be depressed too after so much, but I know Sam's spirit is stronger than mine and he will rebound! He is meant for even more special blessings to others (than he has already been!) and I know the Holy Spirit will sustain him. Give him our love. Pete and Adele
Samalama, We can't wait for you to come down. Pryce has EXTENSIVE plans for your hang/play time. We are sure you can wear a pirate hat and do some crafts w/us right?! We are getting geared up to see you very soon. We love you lots! Aunt Gigi, Uncle T, P and K!
