Chip and I began this blog in January (07) when we traveled to Lithuania to meet our son, Sam (AKA Marty). Sam has Spina Bifida, a congenitial deformity of his spine that causes him to be paralyzed from the waist down. As we share Sam and tell his story on this site, it is our desire to glorify God and testify to His faithfulness in every peak and valley of our journey.
Thank you for continuing to update us with news. It is such a relief to hear that Sam's pain is a little bit better. There's not a more heartbreaking thought than a child in pain - especially our happy Sam. And also great to hear that you and Chip might be getting a little bit of sleep. If you get a chance, please post (or e:mail) your mailing address - Paul and Matthew would love to send Sam a card. Many prayers and happy thoughts continue to go your way. Post when you can.
