Today was better than yesterday.  They changed him to a morphine pump that he controls. This has helped, but he still has intense pain anytime we move him.  He has not yet gotten out of bed so we just shift his weight in the bed. Even this little movement is, as he put it "so very, very painful."  (That will break a mama's heart.)  They did a blood transfusion this afternoon and he looks better --good color, alert, watching tv,...  The DR said that he will revisit the spica cast idea tomorrow -as Sam might need the extra stability after all.   Thank you again for your prayers and support...K

And it can make the rest of us cry! Multiplying the prayers. N & J are praying for Sam at every meal and at night. N also prays that Mr. and Mrs. Chip won't be scared.

The whole 202 Family is praying for Sam. Anna and Emily say "Hospitals are no fun!" Luke wants to go visit Sam and bring him a flower.

My prayer for you is that God will multiply your limited sleep so you feel refreshed; for patience with each other; a speedy recovery for Sam and for God's glory!

We love you guys! (I loved the comment about the Body of Christ vs. a village!!)

Kristin,
Ever since I recieved your e-mail to pray for Sam's surgery you all have been in my prayers through out each day. I know God will continue do mighty things through Sam! Your experience with the hip surgery brings back so much regarding TJ and I beg God to release Sam's pain and heal him. I pray for you and that God will give you your strength and peace in the longs days and nights you stay in the hosptial with Sam. I know if you could you would trade places with him in a heart beat. Oh how hard it is to see your child suffer but we mucst trust that God is with ya'll every step of the way . Do not forget to take a minute ( yes I mean a minute!) to refresh yourself, how a hot shower does a world of good! You too have a mircle boy and this we give thanks. I hope SC will be in your future moves and look forward to seeing your precious boys SMILE!
