Chip and I began this blog in January (07) when we traveled to Lithuania to meet our son, Sam (AKA Marty). Sam has Spina Bifida, a congenitial deformity of his spine that causes him to be paralyzed from the waist down. As we share Sam and tell his story on this site, it is our desire to glorify God and testify to His faithfulness in every peak and valley of our journey.
Dear Huey Family: I am so glad to hear Sam is doing well after surgery. You have the body of Christ here and in Lithuania praying for him. Oksana and I prayed last night and she will be glad to hear the good report. Sam has such a valiant little heart. He is one of my heros. I look forward to meeting all of you in June.
Kristin- Thanks so much for the updates. So glad to hear that things are going so well. I'm sure you must be exhausted, too. Don't forget to take care of yourself!! Sam is on my list of people I must meet someday (to hopefully glean some much needed wisdom and maturity)! We are praying for you all from here (which currently is West Point...soon to be Colorado Springs). Our love and prayers to all.
